Assistant Venue Manager

Regular Part-Time

Title: Assistant Venue Manager
Reports to: Venue Manager
Nature of the position: Essential Duties: 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION 

Assistant Venue Coordinator

Assistant Venue Manager

Regular part-time, non-exempt (weekend/evening work is required)

o Serves as a venue representative
o Fields client questions leading up to an event
o Builds strong, positive client relationships
o Participates in identifying and creating customer enhancing experiences 

o Serves as venue coordinator on the day of the event. Duties to include the following: 

o Serves as an on-site representative on the day of an event
o Serves as a liaison between client, vendors and the on-site operations team  

o Fields all facility-based questions day of event

o Helps set up/ clean for future events

 

o Works endlessly to ensure guest satisfaction 

o Ensures that contract terms are being met by all parties 

o Works alongside the event operations team to ensure that venues is set up and maintained in accordance with client’s wishes and The Collins off Main standards of excellence 

o Performs other duties as assigned 

 

Qualifications: 

o Possess an outgoing personality and the desire to provide exceptional customer service.  

o Proficient at Office 365 Suite, & G Suite 

o Understanding of Aisle Planner, Timeline Genius plus.

o Experience with timeline management and creation and day of logistics management

o Previous Design/Floral Experience a plus 

o Able to lift at least 40 lbs. 

o Willing to take Enneagram Personality Test

o Convey a professional image to clientele and partners at all times.
o Great problem-solving skills and generates client confidence.
o At least three years of sales or event related experience. 

o Desire to transition to full-time employment 2022 and move into Venue Manager/Coordinator Role.

Compensation/Parameters: 

o $12.50-$20/hour based on experience:  5-20 hours a week/seasonally dependant. 

Must be able to work weekends/evenings in addition to weekdays
